Gold-filled earrings have a thick layer of real gold bonded to a base metal: copper. They’re much more durable than gold-plated jewelry and can last for years with proper care—offering the look of solid gold at a more affordable price. Our gold filled jewlery is nickel and lead free.
How to take care of your gold filled pieces:
To keep your gold-filled jewelry looking its best, avoid wearing it in water, especially pools or hot tubs, and keep it away from harsh chemicals like perfumes or cleaning products. Gently clean it with a soft cloth and mild soap if needed, and store it in a dry place, ideally in a jewelry box or pouch to prevent scratching.
Gold filled can last many years with the proper care. Although water resistant it is not waterproof and care should be maintained in chemical water like pools.
